Fedelma’s Flowers

You step into Fedelma’s quaint flower shop, and are immediately welcomed by the cheerful warble of a brass canary perched above the door.

You wander around the shop to the dreamy tunes flowing from a gramophone’s horn and find deep purple dahlias, fragrant hyacinths, and velvety red roses. As you browse the shelves, you’re delighted to come across whimsical wind-up animals with iridescent blue eyes.

The Magpie’s Nest

You have just stepped inside the most luxurious restaurant in Caer-Lunden. Something deep in your stomach flutters.

The entire dining hall glitters in the light cast by chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The tablecloths are woven with gold thread, and you notice details like crystal glasses, gilded cutlery and bone china tableware. Everything is polished to a mirror shine. A mouth-watering aroma wafts from the kitchen.

Attentive mechanical waiters line up like penguins along the wall, keeping their watchful kobalstone eyes on the room, prepared to top up a glass with sweet nectar, or carry out an empty plate.

Now, take a seat and enjoy the dining experience of a lifetime!

The Altostrata

It is not the biggest, but the Altostrata may very well be the most luxurious hotel in Caer-Lunden.

When you enter the airy foyer, you are met by the most emotional music you have ever heard. You are amazed to find that the man sitting at the grand piano is a mechanical doll. How can a machine produce such a soulful tune?

The Tower of Caer-Lunden

Make sure to stay on the straight and narrow so you don’t end up here. The Tower of Caer-Lunden is where the city’s most notorious criminals live out their days.

Although in recent weeks, the Steel Caps have started putting shadow people in the tower as well. It may seem like a harsh measure, but they’re only doing it to keep the citizens of Caer-Lunden safe.

King’s Plaza

You arrive at King’s Plaza, where people are gathering ahead of the yearly king’s parade. In the distance, the steady beat of the approaching marching band can be heard. You notice that some people are rather careless with their valuables.

Tubular Station

You use the Tubular to effortlessly travel around Caer-Lunden. The mole-drawn carriage hurtles at an amazing speed through the underground tunnels. Just remember to ring the bell at your next stop.

Tanner’s Square

When you near Tanner’s Square you can hear from a distance that it is a market day. The stallholders are involved in a shouting competition, all trying to attract prospective customers with the best offers.

You wander along the stalls, savouring the smells of roast chicken, fried fish, chewing resin and candied apples. Above your head, the cigar-shaped form of an airship drifts past soundlessly.

Pinnacle Heights

The shopping district of the wealthy. Feel free to browse, but keep your grubby fingers off our wares.

South Themseside

A friendlier and less pompous shopping area on the south side of Themse Strom. Here you will be able to find a bargain or two.

Lower Hedges

Welcome to Liv’s home quarters. Lower Hedges is less affluent than its sister to the north, Upper Hedges. Restoration work in Lower Hedges is slow going, and the damages from the Big Rift are still tangible.

Peartree Circus

You enter the Muddy Ditch, one of many taverns in Peartree Circus. It is an area popular among tourists, and the tavern is already bustling.

Go ahead and order a tankard of mead if you want, but be sure to keep a close eye on your coin purse. The place is rife with pickpockets.

Palmer’s Yard

The most renowned jewellers of Caer-Lunden keep shop in Palmer’s Yard.

If you are looking for a jeweller of a seedier variety, you should head for the backstreets.

Prince Erik Bridge

You stop for a rest, leaning on the wrought iron railing of Prince Erik Bridge and take in the majestic view of Caer-Lunden. It is high tide and the icy water of Themse Strom flows fast and deep under the bridge. Careful you don’t fall in.

The Crags

Oh, no! You’ve mistakenly wandered into the Crags.

A ruthless looking gang approaches, and before you can turn around and run, their leader grabs you by the collar. “You’re one of us now,” he says with a cruel grin.

You’ve been “recruited” by the Gargoyles.
